Shear Band Sets

Figure 1 and Figure 2 are two examples of shear bands sets. One is from the Navajo sandstone exposed at Buckskin Gulch, Kaibab Monocline at the Utah-Arizona border. The other is a set of closely spaced shear bands in the San Rafael Monocline near Goblin Valley, Utah.
