Fracture Components

Structure components refer to the constituent parts of a structure. It is customary to analyze a structure by means of breaking it apart into fundamental elements which are described under 'Structure Elements.' Each fundamental structure element has its parts or components that may or may not have the entire properties of the corresponding element. For example, a fault segment has all the properties of a fault but a fault rock body only has certain properties of a fault. We here consider components of each structure element as indicated by the links below, which are helpful to understand the architecture of each element better.
