Multiple Deformation Band Sets

Deformation bands commonly occur in multiple sets in the field. This topic is divided into two sections, one for shear bands and another for volumetric bands (which discusses only compaction bands, because not much is known about multiple dilation band sets although an argument can be made that their distribution is more like other types of extensional fractures).
