Geostatistical Properties of Joints

Joint statistical and scaling properties are discussed for each size or dimensional parameter and the links are listed below. Please note that joint spacing is a property of joint sets and a link to this effect can be found under 'Geostatistical Properties of Joint Sets.'

Geometry of each subclass of joints, single joints, joint zones, joint sets, joint multisets, and joint domains are discussed in the introductory sections of these subclasses. Joint orientation and its relation to bedding and to Earth's free surface will be discussed somewhere else. The significance of joint roughness will be discussed in 'Surface Morphology / Roughness of Joints - Plumose Structure.'
