We have considered the initiation, propagation, and termination of a single joint. We here consider the development of joint systems such as a set or multiple sets of joints in space and time. We will take three cases: growth of joint sets, growth of orthogonal joint sets, and growth of joint systems such as polygonal or columnar joints.
